Centro Panamericano de Idiomas (CPI) invites you to learn Spanish in Costa Rica, a country full of natural beauty, adventure and friendly people. CPI was founded in 1991 by the Najarro-Morales family. Their mission was to create the best language program in Latin America. With three campuses across Costa Rica - Heredia, Monteverde and Flamingo Beach - each operating independently with the same high quality service, CPI is working to achieve its mission. CPI makes every effort to offer its students options that meet their individual needs and interests.

About CPI Monteverde

CPI opened the Monteverde campus in 1996, largely in response to student interest in learning Spanish in the Costa Rican rainforest. After nine years of operation, CPI Monteverde has become an integral part of this unique community, working with local organizations to place CPI students in volunteer positions throughout the region.

Located in the Monteverde zone, about one mile from the small Costa Rican town of Santa Elena, CPI Monteverde is a great choice for nature and outdoor enthusiasts. The area has become world-renowned for its outstanding commitment to environmental preservation and sustainable conservation.

Who studies at CPI?
